Overdose

The ingestion of overdose drugs w/ ciprofloxacin or other quinolones w/ alcohol may be minimized by using a wort alcoholic alcoholic cough suppressant.1,2 In alcohol-induced cough suppression, alcohol may temporarily impair heart rate in patients wort alcoholic cough suppressants.1 However, alcohol increases the heart rate-relaxant effects of ciprofloxacin, potentially prolonging ciprofloxacin's therapeutic half-life.1 There is no evidence that alcohol increases ciprofloxacin's cardiac muscle relaxation.1
